I was hoping this book would be interesting and would have lots of details about being a demigod...this book didnt meet those expectations.

Great Insight:
I'm a Percy Jackson Nut and I wouldn't feel right if I didn't have every Percy Jackson book. this was cool book. I liked the three short stories it contained, they all made me laugh. I liked the illustrations and especially the camp. Basically this book was just elaborating Percy Jackson. All in all it was a fun read and a must if you Percy Jackson.
Demigod Shorts:
Apparently, this came out between books four and five, and I could easily have read it between books ... but I didn't realize. The three short stories in this book definitely take place in that space, and Riordan does a nice job of letting Percy narrate but shining a light on the supporting characters instead. The first story features Clarisse and definitely gives a glimpse into how her antagonistic relationship with Percy matured over time.
