William currently (May 2009) serves as the Worship pastor at The Gathering Place Worship Center in Lake Mary, Florida alongside Pastor Sam Hinn. As a Music Minister and worship leader, William has led worship over the last 10 years in multicultural settings that have crossed racial and denominational barriers, leading audiences large and small, both young and old into the experience of God's presence. He has ministered in churches and conferences all over the United States and in several countries across the globe as the Music Director and keyboardist for Dr. Ron Kenoly. Because of his diverse ministry background, William is able to embrace all cultures and types of people, finding a common ground or "place of entry" as he calls it, for everyone.

This CD was recommended to me by a friend. This artist truly has the heart of God. If you want a real worship experience whereby you enter into the presence of God, this CD is a must!!! I could not stop crying.
Closer to Jesus:
The two CDs are well worth the price. The worship is awesome. My favorite titles are Closer to You & I Belong To You.
I give myself away:
I have not bought this cd yet. But my dance team has ministered with "I Give Myself Away" and "Here I am to Worship". These two songs are truly anointed. There is no doubt that you won't feel the presence of God with these songs. If the rest of the cd are like these two songs then this is a must buy.
Soul Music:
As We Worship Live is a CD for the true worshippers. William McDowell is a psalmist that has spent time in the presence of God and has been endowed with the awesome ability of being able to convey the prophetic through praise and worship.
